We're a long time from a six month IPL. But it will happen. The only way to stop Tests fading away is make it a league and sell it as an entire package. But the smaller teams fought that as they didn't want to be relegated. Completely oblivious to the fact they'll relegate themselves to feeder teams if they don't sort international cricket out. I don't think international cricket will die, World Cups are big money, Olympics cricket is on the way. But bilateral series might fade away.
