Very disappointed to getting this email and learning of Substack’s integration with Polymarket. The comparison to the stock market is not apt: a stock is a stake of ownership; a wager in a prediction market is air, and when you lose you have nothing to show for it.

Barely regulated, ripe for corruption, I don’t understand how a prediction markets’ value proposition aligns with needs of most Substack readers and writers.
