Every time I see another hot take about how Palm Sunday is a protest (?) and Jesus was there to free the Jews from the Romans (please stop) I’m going to reshare this—sorry!
Biden fucking sucked, I'll be the first to say it.
But I also woke up this morning to the news that the conservative justices on the Supreme Court basically criminalized homelessness, and overturned 40 years of constitutional law, apparently the most cited case law ever, by overturning the Chevron deference doctrine. And I'm stuck because I don't want to downplay how bad Biden was in the debate and the resulting discussion even among people I really admire like Paul Krugman.
But then this shit happens and I just want to focus on what a catastrophe that ruling is for literally everything and what to do about it, instead of panicking about a debate performance. So idk. This Simpsons clip made me laugh and is in a similar vein, so I hope you enjoy it too.
And I know HEATED is going to cover the ruling as well, but if I have one request as a subscriber it is to please enjoy the weekend playing Zelda Emily. You deserve it after all this.
