Climate politics is really all about radical economic and social engineering, toward a future of centrally planned poverty and immiseration that has been the hustle of a certain brand (Green Party) of European socialst for over 50 years, at least. If I was advising Trump I would place fierce opposition to this agenda right at the top of my list, on the same level as the curtailment of immigration. Luckily, Trump totally gets the picture.
