This Saturday evening, February 28th, six planets will be visible in the western sky simultaneously - Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Saturn and Neptune - four of them with the naked eye.
This planetary parade is not a coincidence of orbital mechanics that happens to look pretty. This is the solar system making a processional march toward the threshold where the world just changed. They are queuing up at the reset point. Each one moving through the door that Saturn and Neptune opened.
In traditional astrology, when planets gather they are said to be in conference - their principles converging, their separate agendas subsumed into a single conversation. It's not hard to imagine this conference is about the convergence that just happened in the sky, when Saturn and Neptune met at 0° Aries for the first time in recorded history and the seed of something new cracked through the pavement like a tiny green shoot.
These two planets have never met at the very first degree of the very first sign of the zodiac since we started writing things down. To find the last time these two planets met at this degree, you have to go all the way back to March 4361 BCE - approximately 6,381 years ago - and even then the conjunction wasn’t quite as exact as the one we just lived through. 4361 BCE predates written language by nearly a thousand years, meaning no civilization existed with the astronomical sophistication to record it. We are the first people in recorded history to live through such an unprecedented astrological event, and witness what it seeded.
Saturn is the planet of structure.
Neptune is the planet of collective consciousness.
Zero degrees Aries is the beginning of beginnings.
If the zodiac is a clock, this was midnight striking on a new day - structure meeting collective consciousness in the sign of ignition, and the old structures built on the mind’s frequency meeting a new frequency of awareness. This is genesis, a reset, a new start for humanity. A new operating system, seeded into the ground of human consciousness for the first time. The ignition of an entirely new frequency. The birth of a new reality.
No wonder so many planets have gathered to mark this moment, to ask what gets built from here, what frequency do we carry forward, and what the new world might actually feel like.
Mercury brings the mind - how we think, communicate, and understand.
Venus brings the heart - what we love, what we value, what we consider beautiful.
Jupiter brings expansion - the vision of what’s possible.
Uranus brings the awakening that shatters old patterns and demands we evolve.
And Saturn and Neptune hold the question itself: can structure and soul finally coexist?
Go outside on Saturday evening after sunset and look up and you’ll see them. Four planets visible without any instrument, strung across the darkening sky in a single arc.
The cosmos is not being subtle this week. It opened a door with the Saturn/Neptune conjunction and now a week later it's showing us everything walking through it.
This is what a reset looks like from the inside.
