They are myopic. Critical thinking is just a void to be avoided. Suggesting the seeking out of different and contrary opinions removes the false sense of security found on the favorite mainstream media source they choose. The fall from grace of the MSM as an event in motion is a foreign thought, incomprehensible to such a mindset. Essentially, if it is on tv from a msm source, it must be true. Safe and secure, no thinking and evaluating required.
