I’ll Take Two

Stopped for 2 little girls at a curbside table selling what I thought was lemonade.

Nope, it was painted rocks!

As I looked over the selection, their grandmom prompted the older one, maybe 6 or 7 years old, to tell me what they were raising money for.

“We’re raising money for the animal shelter.”

That’s really nice, I said.

The younger one chimed in “and we’re gonna keep half for ourselves because we want money too.”

I responded “good for you, I’ll take 2”

🌸Met some new neighbors, supported the arts and helped crowd fund 2 budding entrepreneurs.

I was pretty productive on my day off!
