I’ve been on a “learn to run efficiently in track spikes at 50+” journey and am seeing progress, and the benefits. And, it’s a whole new way of running. I am reminded, after getting the smallest of calf strains last week, that easing into spikes, especially as an older athlete, is critical to avoid injury. And also, learning to run in spikes is so fun! Anyone else getting into or returning to track racing as an older runner?
