Unearthed I have that sense of me
T’was hiding ‘neath a willow tree.
I coaxed it out, I set it free,
It was no longer serving me.
But then, my friend, I called it back,
When wars and terrors cut a track.
I wrapped myself in fantasy
And blanked out life, till I could breathe.
And one day it ‘came clear to me,
That life, unearthed, will set us free.
