I have come to realize that I hate exercise.

However, this morning I have just returned from a 7:30 AM gym session for the second time this week. Since starting this regime (cardiac rehab), I feel so much more energetic. I have to admit, exercise changes everything.

Damn it.

A huge part of me wishes I could just sit and write or read or stitch or knit all day. But if I want to continue to feel better every day, I can’t do that. I’ve got to move.

I’m using the same motivation muscles that get me to the page every day to get me to the workouts.

The way you do one thing is the way you do everything, right?
