Yesterday I listened to an episode of Creative Pep Talk, from Andy J. Miller, about focusing on input as a way to increase your creativity. He talked about seeding your brain with good information. And he shared a Venn Diagram system of figuring out where ease and impact intersect.

I found it helpful, and since then I’ve been pondering what I’m filling my brain with, and what I want to be filling my brain with.

Pretty sure following every nuance of the current political situation paired with every headline from the gossip columns is not seeding my mind the way I want.

Instead, I want to fill it with stories from inspiring writers, novelists, Substackers, publishers, artists, and creatives. People who are doing more of what I’m doing, or at least aiming to do, every day.
