I have personally represented some of the shittiest most evil people in the world; people who have committed heinous shit and refused to take any semblance of accountability whatsoever. Sam Bankman-Fried is still the champion in the lacking remorse Olympics because I’ve never seen a wasteland as barren as him.

What stands out about SBF is that he doesn’t even pretend to be angry about his supposed false conviction. The clients I have who lack remorse inevitably let their anger leak through their insistent lies, lashing out against any target of convenience.

SBF’s response affect is basically “Oh clearly this is all a huge misunderstanding but of course I’m hoping that the smart people will undo this unfortunate mistake.” He either acts as if or genuinely believes in his innocence delusion. Remarkable.
