Thank you both for this amazing interaction, Chinaemerem and Rukevwe. Even I have learnt from you both.

Interactions like this help us see from the other person's perspective. And even if we don't agree at the end, we can respectfully do so.

It's true that there are blind spots in that article that could have been written better, and Princewill can also learn from this.

This is a matter that especially when written from a subjective point of view, things are bound to get misinterpreted, whether it was written with pure intentions or not. Our mindsets are largely shaped by our beliefs, upbringing and even interactions with the opposite gender. In the public view, everyone's take on this topic won't be the same, that’s why the comment section is the way it is. But we can all learn from each other, via constructive criticism.

Now, not all, but some Modern Feminists are anti-men and anti-christianity. And I understand.

Their anger is valid, because women have had to endure inhumane things. Fighting back against Men and Christianity seems like the only option.

(I'll carry out some research as to why in Feminism, we are internally divided in the first place, which is why i gave up bearing labels and stuck to "empowering women".)

As a Christian woman, who believes Christ has set a new standard for men to follow. I have seen some men get it right. That gives me hope. It is my desire that many also follow suit.

Just to add, marrying a Christian man is not the solution. 😅 Instead, the existence of True Christian men (though Princewill used Biblical), can help dismantle persistent patriarchy in our society.

[To one who isn't Christian, Refined men can be a better way to put it. That is, whether you’re Christian/Muslim/Non-religious, you can say no to partaking in patriarchal ways.]

I'll read your article and comment on it soon. 😊
