There’s something fundamentally wrong with modern gaming.
You turn on a console to play a game.
You have to wait for the game or patch to download.
You have to wait through disclaimers.
You have to accept a contract to play the game (End User Agreement).
You have to wait for dozens of logos.
You have to create a new account to get to online services.
You have to navigate through menus.
You have to adjust settings (Inverse Y-axis, looking at you)
You have to wait for cutscenes.
You have to wade through a 45 min. tutorial.
And then you finally get to play the game.
When did gaming become such a hurdle?
