I have one subscriber who reads a single chapter of my book every week, than emails me every Sunday morning with his feedback.
He's 75, and has no idea how to use the Substack app. He will never see this note.
It makes my entire week when I get his email. He is a wonderful soul, funny and lovely, and he keeps me moving forward.
How do I even repay that?
On another substack a Dr was talking about having limited time with patients. My 10 year old niece tried to commit suicide twice since Covid. This hits me in the heart. Our whole health care system, education system needs to be revamped, along with our family values. Many children are latchkey, driven to activities, but not listened to.
The solution often now is lets medicate them. Really sad.
Media ignores problem and root issues because Big Tech is as protected as Big Pharma. I'd bet your niece spends a lot of time on tech and social media.
