Swallow your annoyance when she: coughs, munches an apple, packs bags slowly, forgets to say a turn is approaching so you miss the exit, calls you 6 times in a row when you’re busy, yells at you for something small, for something big, for when she slams the door in your face. 

Hold on to when she: makes you camomile tea, peels you pomegranates, wraps your gift, takes the wheel when you’re too sleepy, picks up your call on the first ring, makes you laugh at the little things, at the painful things, for when she leaves her keys underneath the mat.
