I publish again tomorrow, and I’ve got an 11th-hour S.O.S.: recommend me something, please!

To keep up my habit of citing and recommending another Substack publication in each post, I need to find one about either comics or literature (to keep it topical).

HOWEVER, I’m a working-age adult in the contemporary West, and therefore I haven’t had time, money, or attention span to keep up with what’s going on in either comics or literature outside of my own (very restricted) sphere, with much of my free time invested in contributing to each.

However, I guess I have that hipster instinct to try some hidden gold, and not just cite and recommend a big-name creator—like Morrison or Vaughan or Hickman for comics, or Atwood or Rushdie or Smith for literature, for example—so I’m hoping someone reading this in the next 24 hours can introduce me to some astounding hidden gem.

If not, I’ll just comment on this Note with the publications from the obvious choices used as examples above.

(In fact, I’ll do that anyway, because, why not?)
