That was a great start. I kinda felt down there that Sydney would've never killed the prince but the fact you almost made me doubt there for a second was something I lowkey enjoyed^^

Riven had a passing presence only in this chapter but the beginning as a whole did a great job setting the grim tone for the rest of the chapter.

I also liked the hint to the turmoil going on that was given us by the presence of the orc captain without giving us details to what transpired yet. It makes me curious to find out and, by extension, to find out more about the setting
