The irony is that there are thousands of videos of Ukrainians being press-ganged off the streets and literally dragged kicking and screaming into the army. Amputees included.

There also are similar videos of poorly trained, poorly led Ukrainian troops being sacrificed, gunned down in confused meat waves. Prisoners report blocking units ordered to shoot those who try to surrender.

Nobody in the Kiev leadership or in NATO gave a shit, as long as the army kept fighting.

Now that Nazi Ukraine is running low on warm live bodies to throw, it seems once again that victory has a thousand fathers, while defeat is an orphan.

The common westerners have a hard time realizing Ukraine is a full-blown Nazi state with a Gestapo-type security apparatus having a tight grip on any dissent.

The fact there are Ukrainian flags flying on many western government and business flagpoles, or displayed on prominent people's social media profiles, says absolutely nothing. During 1930s swastikas flew in the US and Europe despite their knowing the abuses taking place.

Those are scum. I'm mostly concerned with those truly failing to comprehend it. They are many, I believe. I'm trying to appeal to them to look back at 1930s Germany and realize that's where they're at.

I'm surprised there has been no effort from inside Ukraine to take out Zelensky. I mean, how long will this useless slaughter continue?

Jeezus. But then again - you're going to die if you attempt breaking through the Russian front line in a futile offensive with no air support to speak of - what do you got to lose? The last I heard, something like 45,000 Ukrainian casualties in the last month (an 8 to 1 ratio of Ukrainian to Russian soldiers) - and the Ukrainian army didn't even reach the first defensive Russian lines - little alone the 2nd or 3rd lines.

At what point do people higher up the military food (death) chain begin saying enough is enough?

The people running Kiev and Washington are sociopaths.

They could not care less about any casualties other then to themselves.

Are you saying there are no Ukrainians in power, or higher up in the military that don't have some amount of integrity, or a basic human moral conscience - that their own fellow Ukrainians are being slaughtered en masse, being used as cannon fodder in a war they clearly cannot win?

I find that a bit hard to believe, but what do I know.

Nope, and if they pop their heads up, they will be dealt with.

This is all with the full knowledge and approval of the West.

I am saying there will be a lot of those once the situation changes, readily so. They'll say they've always been like that. For now, though, they are "in the bag" for fear of being dealt with similar to many others.

Interpret it however you want. This is nothing new, just check 1930-40s Germany for the most recent example.

Agree. But Trump also ramped up the war against Russia: https://consortiumnews.com/2019/11/19/25-times-trump-has-been-dangerously-hawkish-on-russia/

It's not so much who is POTUS that makes a difference anymore, it's the runaway militarism of the institutions and oligarchs who have bought and are running the US government. War is continuous and is meant to be continuous.

The seeds of the Ukraine war were planted during the Clinton administration's decision to expand NATO. The war later was cast in stone in 2008 Bucharest NATO summit's commitment to include Ukraine.

The Biden corruption is the result of that, and it is NOT the cause of the war.

Expand full comment

Bit of a chicken and egg situation, that. Biden and others' corruption could have continued even if Ukraine hadn't been promised NATO membership, in fact it might have worked out even better for them, since we wouldn't be where we are now

At $110,000,000,000 in military hardware to Ukraine and 500,000 dead Ukrainians, that comes to $220,000 per dead Ukrainian. That's if you believe the Official Numbers, which are surely an understatement.

As we have both said before, but probably not understood by many readers, they are 'kinsmen', even after adding in the memory of Stalin's Holodomor in 1932-33.

While not promoting the reading of this frightening event, probably unknown to all Americans, The Holodomor, as above, it does show that time heals all things. If you are kin, then time allows even that kind of memory to pass into history.

Unless of course you are engaged in the promoting of the grand Jewish political event in the name of the Holocaust out of which has come the total ownership of the US empire, now a clearly stated Jewish asset, used for their own advantage. And how!

Until the world can see this highly promoted holocaust event for what it was.... and since then, for what it has since become, the failing US empire will go on carrying Israel's bags, seen daily in the sponsored treatment by the US of apartheid Israel's removal of the Palestinians from their land, every day receiving funding for such a crime from both houses of a subservient US government. More to come too.

Read on "Eretz Israel". Follow the dots.

What a disgraceful country the US has become. The fact that these inhumane crimes have been in progress for 60 years, totally sponsored by US dollars, must be a clear indication to every voter in the USA what is happening there and who, like their politicians, obviously don't give a damn. Read about it in the Jewish owned US media?

Never.

So when the Ukrainian proxy war ends, as we saw in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, and the US fly their people home again for the next war on the list, Russia will step in and rebuild Ukraine up again as kinsmen, contrasting to the US withdrawals from so many countries since 1945, 'exceptional' America having no kinsmen anywhere in the world. Remember Laos / Cambodia? Still killing innocents.

I believe it's the second time you mentioned holodomor recently. You probably don't realize that the famine of that period has been hijacked by banderites to use and haul into the future forever.

A few points to consider:

- how is it that it was ethnically directed?

- if yes, then what about other areas of the USSR where the crop was being produced, confiscated, with all the horrific consequences ensued? What were those areas? How are those events called and treated there?

- what were the areas where no crop grew and hence couldn't be provided for from their own resources supposed to do?

- have you heard about any other famines anywhere in the world and the promotion of the said to the level the banderites managed to do with "holodomor"?

It often happens that the USA is compared to the former Roman Empire (although we have to admit that this is a humiliating comparison to the former Romans 😉 ), but perhaps this time it is apt, because it was the favorite entertainment of the Romans that they let gladiators fight each other in the amphitheatres, just like the uneducated American " patricians "incited the two Slavic nations against each other and now they want to see more blood in the arena !

Well, you can't accuse me of Ukrainian sympathy, but I know for a fact that one thing can never be blamed on the Ukrainians, that they lack courage ! Especially a nation that has lost every single war in the last fifty years (yes Grenada was there, you beat the Cuban construction workers 😉 ) let's look at Vietnam, but let's look at the last "glory" when a tribe in sandals kicked you in the ass !
