And just to pass something on... an artist acquaintance flagged up how terrible spotify is for musicians' income and I didn't know this. Maybe others don't? I'm not a musician myself so I don't know, but maybe something to bear in mind - people on this list might know of good alternatives?
All streaming is terrible for musicians. Apple is marginally better. Bandcamp was great and is now disintegrating. I link to Spotify because that’s what most people use. But I hear you.

Hey Austin, I'm curious how the video game/ audio book mashup is going? Are you retaining more or less? I love audio books and haven't tried this mashup but listen when cleaning my house every week. Cassidy Hutchinson's new book, Enough got me through a month of cleaning the house lol. Just curious how you're finding your retention and also, are you doing well in the game? I'm thinking of trying this while playing virtual paintball on my Meta Quest.

Ditto what Austin said. Most musicians I know consider an album to be promotional for live shows rather than a source of income.
