I completely agree on making the "implicit" "explicit" its such a powerful approach and something I have tried to practice throughout my career. When I was coaching elite athletes I used to give them out surveys covering every aspect or competition and training. This allowed me to appreciate nuance and individual behaviours that you never got round to asking. So powerful. So important.

I also loved your point on choosing long feedback cycles with regard to investment. We choose our timeframes. Thanks for sharing.
