Love what you're doing, but this sentence 'With a microchip inside of everyone who took a COVID vaccine, no one is in a better position to answer that question than Gates.' could have used a disclaimer or something.

@packy I always comment how much I enjoy this series but today especially resonated. I had my first visceral reaction to these stories as I caught myself smiling by the time I made it to the Patagonia story!

Figma may create a new group of angel investors, but it is a continuation of anti-competitive actions by a monopolist.

Look up Macrovision and what happened to its products after acquisition by Adobe.

When I hear the word poverty used in a policy context it should represent what most people think of--a state of depravation that makes it difficult to thrive. But the Census Bureau calculates poverty status as a function of moneyed income excluding non-cash payments like WIC, SNAP, tax credits, Medicaid, Section 7 vouchers or other housing subsidies.

Telling me that moneyed income increases when we send people more money...isn't a policy success.
