After the Supreme Court's 2010 decision in Citizens United, there are few restrictions on spending money in federal elections. But Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) may have violated one of the last legal guardrails to secure hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of his reelection campaign.
"It really is sad what’s happened to the media," Cruz told ABC 13 reporter Shannon Ryan. "The media exists right now seemingly to parrot left-wing Democrat attacks."
You know what's really sad is how much of a fucking coward Ted Cruz is.
I'll say it again, "Every accusation is an admission of guilt." Those of us healthy enough to see what's actually happening know that the media, even public media, spends entirely too much time parroting "conservative" talking points, even those which are ridiculous or provably false, and when they do expose "conservative" malfeasance, go to great lengths to find some miniscule parallel situation where a "liberal" may have done something that's at least remotely similar to the massive Republican misdeed.

I’m rooting for (and giving a little cash to) Colin Allred’s campaign even though I live in another state. There are not many other U.S. Senators that have the national recognition as Cruz does and getting him out of the Senate would be a great thing. Let’s make it happen Texas voters.

So many corrupt individuals, so much money, in so many directions, so much confusion, so many lies...so little control over it all. Kinda seems like a planned and well organized chaos perhaps? A collective agreement program perhaps?
Perhaps an honest staff of 1 million, full time, well paid fact checkers might not be able to effectively track these individuals/organizations and their illegal activities? Whatever we have in place now... obviously isn't working.
It a new world we are experiencing, where drama, lies and outrageous behavior is not only acceptable but in some cases necessary. There are no guard rails for the super wealthy or politicians and no real protections for those without wealth and power. Biden and his people have their hands full and are doing a decent job but there is just so much that needs to be done, he just can't get it all under control in 4 years and most like not in 8, if he wins and we can hold onto that win. It's a logistical nightmare trying to undo the damage that Trump, Putin and the Republicans have done and continue to do. He has really great people but not nearly enough.
This is the financial arm that funds the re-election of "Lyin-Ass Ted" who ran to Cancun as his constituents died at home in a winter storm the state was scarcely prepared for (thanks to his political party), then blamed his daughters for his family's hastily planned and ill advised departure.
Sounds about right for these times and the political party this wretch represents.

Does the advertising consist of the lies like you just reported (that Biden is spending taxpayer dollars to fly "illegal" immigrants to the United States)? I'd like to see a list of his outright lies and have this become a legal complaint that ever major newspaper and every nationally seen tv station would cover. Is that possible?
