The district would like to thank the community for approving the Instructional Support Levy for the Knoxville Community School District! We will use the funds to support curriculum materials, instructional supplies, textbook replacement, and other critical items for our students.
In addition, there was also a School Board election on Tuesday. Congratulations to Dave Smith, who was re-elected to the Board along with Susan Swartzendruber and Brian Slykhuis who were also elected. We would like to extend a big thank you to current School Board members Cheri Gerdes and Larissa Van Donselaar for their outstanding dedication and service to our schools. Both will soon be leaving the Board, and we are grateful for their commitment to our students, staff, and families.
