The Knoxville School District celebrated 100 days of school on Valentine’s Day last week.
I spoke with Scott and Layla in Mrs. Crawford’s class before Valentine’s Day. They told me they were excited about the hundredth day of school and the holiday. They also told me what they liked about school:

I stopped by Mrs. Spriggs’ class during their Valentine’s Day party. Here’s what the students have to say to you:
Mr. Gramlich has a section in class where the students design their own games/sporting activities. They can build on existing sports, but there has to be something different about them. Who knows, the students may invent a new craze, like pickleball!
Coloring time at the High School!
Members of the Knoxville Area Community Theater (K-ACT) have been working with middle school students to provide them with a Winter Theater Experience that they have been providing for several years. They will be performing tonight, Monday, February 19 at 7:00 PM in the vocal music room in the middle school. Above is a fun mime exercise they did. Marty Adkins, with K-ACT explains more:
