I've never joined or donated to a political party, but the day Labour said an all out ban was on the cards I made a small donation, hopefully as a signal a few others did too.
Great piece Eliza. Don’t know if you saw it but I watched the Channel 4 News report on the Warwickshire Hunt this evening and it was all set out and various sabs clips were played as was an interview with a very concerned local (Labour) MP. All very damning, well to my eyes anyway.
Then, in the second part the Chief Superintendent with responsibility for police coordination on fox hunting nationally gave some really positive comments on how the Warwickshire Constabulary need to be investigated to see what this ‘special protocol’ amounts to and why it was set up. And he acknowledged that dealing with the hunts is about much more than wildlife welfare so this kind of criminality will get a higher priority.
Well I would hope that the local MP is totally opposed to hunting but my guess is that Starmer will back track on any promises to make hunting illegal. There's just something about the man that says "I'm right behind you all" but not how far back that is.
Yes I am feeling uncomfortable about him too. Never voted Labour but who is left? Have been told on here that the Lib Dems are just as bad, that they are pro hunting!
Hello, always voted Labour though Blair, who did so much good in the beginning, then became a Bush Christian foot soldier and took part in the war crimes in Iraq and helped kill between 600,000 to 1,000,000 innocent men women and children. It's a fact that had he said no to going in Bush would have called it all off.

Seccombe is using POWER and PRILVILEGE in his position as PCC to encourage his criminal mates to happily go about breaking the law whenever and wherever they choose. The police are in the gutter. Its time for police reform in a big way.

Thankyou for naming and exposing these animal abusers, this certainly shows the corruption within the Police. Until the hunting laws are changed we are going to see this cruelty persist. We need to make life difficult for them particularly by shops, pubs, etc, refusing to serve them. I know a builder who was tricked into doing work by the Heythrop hunt, when he uncovered their lies, he immediately stopped the work (partly done), and demanded immediate payment. I'm proud to say he's my son-in-law.
