You are the first person I’ve ever seen reference Claymation Christmas that wasn’t my family. We had it on a worn out vhs, taped from tv, and watched it over and over this time of year. That link is treasure. Thank you!

I forgot about the term "Dead Week"! 🤦‍♂️ I posted on various socials my theory that if you celebrate Christmas, December is really the shortest month of the year. I referred to Dead Week as "Betwixt Holiday Limbo Days" which doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

Classic - you sent me down a rabbit-hole about Goethe before I could even read #1 :) Curious to read more about his thoughts on color. Happy holidays!

Kurt Vile did a cover of "Must Be Santa" with his kids, super cute. And if you don't know Kurt's music, a much better discovery awaits!

I've had Anni Albers sketchbook a while. I got On Weaving after you mentioned it earlier this year, but have only looked at the pretty pictures. Both are by my chair in the living room. I need to set aside time to read--I always think if there's time to sit, there's time to do something with my hands.

I binge watched the first season of Jack Reacher & loved it! You are right...Tom Cruise is totally wrong. I especially liked that Reacher bought clothes at second hand stores, and was a true minimalist when it came to things, but a maximalist when it came to noticing the life he was in & around him! Haven’t ready any of Childs and don’t think I will.
