My best thing was scoring a prescription for Paxlovid on Monday after coming down with Covid-19 on Friday afternoon/evening. (Saturday's test was negative, but by Sunday I had enough in me to test positive.) For some reason BC is restricting access to Paxlovid, but I was able to get the 5-day course of treatment and it seems to be working. (For one thing, my fever has abated.)
I've had 2 Prizer shots, 2 Moderna boosters, and the bivalent booster, and I always wear an N95 mask in indoor public places, but the new variants are very infectious. I think the shots and boosters would have kept the episode at the mild level, but Long Covid is terrifying, so I'm glad I got Paxlovid.
