It was difficult not to cry reading your words, dear Swarnali. As a daughter who also is very close to her parents, I feel each thread of grief and fear and shattering you express. Your readers are steadfast and insightful and we will not leave this space. I am and will be sending you, your father, your mother, and your sister, thoughts, prayers, and light. 💙

Grief is such an intense and private journey, not an event, and I’m not sure the journey ever ends. Sending you so much love to carry with you if and when you need it. 💜

Take good care. Do let others support you. If you have not heard of Francis Weller, I recommend his book The Wild Edge sorrow.

Dear Swarnali, you are going through such a tough process and creativity is often waylaid by our deep emotional crises. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable. I hope you have support from friends. The good ones won't mind you leaning on them for a while. Very best wishes during this challenging period.
