Good morning. Today we’re listening to KMRU, an electronic project from Kenyan producer Joseph Kamaru. We first recommended him in August 2020. Kamaru was born and raised in Nairobi. After gaining traction as a house/techno DJ, he ventured to the countryside out in Rongai, where he made field recordings and produced ambient music. One of the resulting LPs,
