Good morning. Today we’re listening to Keith Jarrett, an American pianist from Pennsylvania. He took up piano before his third birthday, and at age seven performed Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart at a recital.
I think it's fair to say he invented an entire genre of long-form solo piano explorations. There's nothing like it since Koln Concerts, and he's still going.
This is probably the most humble description of Ketih Jarret's career.... ;-)
