Also want to give a shout-out to Michael Podhorzer's latest, Partying Like It's 1928, at michaelpodhorzer@substack.com. I first heard Michael on Pod Save and find him very thoughtful and original. This piece is no exception.
Two things for this community. 1) This is such white ignorance I know, but does anyone know if there is good and fair news that is translated to Spanish? Is there anything to "compete" against a right wing Spanish channel? And 2) I just want to say this: everyone, including EM (whose name I can no longer write, just like T's) says and acts like twitter is just like substack. But most of the people I would like to folllow on substack are switching to paid subscriptions. I am all with Dan, no complaint, but I cannot cought up $70-120 for everyone I want to read. Am feeling greatly frustrated with the whole substack thing. I know people want and need to earn, and yet it is like what is happening on television. Paying for every little thing adds up. Just saying. Not to you Dan; I will pay for your writing always.
