Breaking: Multiple hospitals in trans safe states/blue states have decided to stop providing trans youth care. I have independently confirmed DC Children's Hospital has stopped providing trans youth care (all care) as well as Denver Health (surgery only).
Other hospitals I am getting reports of include VCU and NYU Langone, though these are not fully confirmed as of yet.
The bans apply to those under 19 years of age, as hospital systems comply in advance out of fear of DOJ threats from Trump.
They are abdicating their responsibility to their patients.
