I announced in my last post that I’ll have a book - “How to Baby: a No-Advice-Given guide to motherhood, with Drawings” - out with The Dial Press and Random House in late April. It’s a memoir of my first year of parenting masquerading (not so seriously) as a how-to book. It’s full of drawings I️ made during pregnancy and early parenthood. It’s designed for new parents - something you can pick up and laugh and cry with and forget about and pick up again the next day - and the publishers did a fantastic job of making the book into a beautiful object. I’m very grateful to my editors, Andy Ward and Whitney Frick, my agent Meredith Kaffel Simonoff, my publicist Erin Richards, and the rest of the team. You can preorder it now at this link. Here's a picture of the cover - I can't wait to share more from the inside.
And now your weekly cartoons.
For paid subscribers, a two-pager about trying the two components of self (I wish I had a better way to describe what I’m trying to talk about – hence the comic).
