I am sending you a ton of love and a way to manage your notifications. There's been so much talk of overwhelm and you can limit it very easily on Substack. Let me show you how. You're going to go up to your avatar in the upper right. Click on it and you're going to scroll down to settings.

This should be called account, but it's not. It's called settings. Substack has two settings. So one is your dashboard settings here, and the other is your settings two, which should be called account. Click on it, go to notifications, newsletter delivery, and you can choose smart notifications.

If you choose smart notifications, you'll get everything in the app or you can go up here, go to home, click on it and look at this. You will have your own personal magazine. It's heaven. You can decide how many notifications you get. You can turn off likes and none of this will come to your inbox.

There’s so much talk about overwhelm and burnout that it feels like it’s starting to create overwhelm and confusion. No longer.

It’s up to us to make Substack the place we want it to be. If that means loads of notifications for you, go forth! If you’d rather quiet it down a bit, managing your notifications is essential.

Here’s how to adjust chat notifications on the Substack app.
