Jane finished wiping her hands and turned the music down low.
Terry’s screams had softened to a whimper now.
She glanced at her work and smiled before lifting him to his feet.
“Come on Terry. Let us see that new tail of yours. It looks better at the back, no?”
This is my entry for this week's
and it is quite possibly the most macabre I’ve written. I remember being challenged to write a horror or a darker story when I first began writing these fifty word stories - namely due to being such a Stephen King fan - and this was my first attempt at one. Having just finished reading the horrific thriller Misery by Stephen King, I thought it would be fitting to share a tale that has a character akin to that of Annie Wilkes.Hope you are enjoying the bank holiday weekend if you are getting the chance and reading some more delightful horrors today!
