A tweet I sent out about a runner of mine who recently set a PR in the half marathon this past weekend (shoutout to Matt) garnered a lot of interest.
I thought it would be interesting to share some of the training I had him doing, and how he performed during it. I have all of the training logs and plans, but Matt was kind of enough to provide some screenshots from his Coros & Strava apps, allowing us to see more details than just what I planned-out for him.
For many, the amount he was running, at what paces, and the types of workouts may actually surprise you! Some runs much slower than you think, some of my coaching philosophies, and much more in between. There is something for everyone in here.
