SPEAKER 1
And the reason that they interfere with the likes and other stuff and prevent people from seeing replies to each other and comments is because they're trying to foster resentment and enmity and jealousy and all negative emotions because they want people to fight among themselves. They don't want people to be united.
0:22
And this is just a literal, this is their strategy. Because the person who posts a like, posts a comment, say a reply to something, and a normal person presses like, And they just assume the other person knew that they pressed like. But actually, the other person doesn't see a like, doesn't see a reply.

They don't get a notification. They think they've been ignored. And so then that person says, well, you know, you asked me a question. I gave you an answer. And then I said, thank you very much. And you didn't even, you know, well, fuck you. The hell with you. And this is what's happening. And this is all intentional.

I am offering these complimentary paid subscriptions because I will be using paywalls for some and maybe all future posts (not sure, maybe not all) depends. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video as I did. And, scroll down for a link to the Twitter account Road to Serfdom which is where I got it. I asked him for permission. Although if you understand what he is saying here, you should realize that this is what we all need to be sharing with each other. And especially, teach this to your children; about how SM (Social Media) is weaponized in this way.

It all makes sense why some things go “viral”. When you have this wisdom.

Discussion about this podcast

I think it happened to me once! Berore the election, I listened to an excellent Briteon talk on how disappointing it was that not one of the candidates were (and are still not!)talking about the genocide in Gaza, and on a YouTube vid with RFK Jr where he talked about all the chemicals, dyes, etc in cereals, I commented that I liked his post/s, but was so disappointed that he is not talking about genocide(knowing he supports Israel!)and I got a mail from his online watchguy asking me if I wished to not receive any further posts from him? No, I said, of course I still want to! I just expressed disappointment with...politely, mind you. 🤷‍♀️

for sure it happens to everyone.

I guessing am not on enough sites/blogs/substacks to know this about the control, but it does not surprise me given the last 4+ years. Malone, the only individual I do subscribe to, doesn't allow comments by non-subscribers(me), except maybe once in awhile and I have not done so...no point because it is all those who like to see themselves in print, so I let them do their thing, mostly not reading the comments.

Full disclosure: I do subscribe to 3 types of Epoch Times(Conrad Black - whose viewpoints are different from mine), paying 4$ for the year, apparently, shall not resume...and comment liberally on various articles.

However, all the youtube videos I do watch in the evening, I mostly evaluate by the comments! Some very good ones.

I listened to the gentleman, missed his name, and he is talking about Twitter? Good thing I am not on it!

every platform you are on is curated. If a person says the wrong thing they will be pushed down. The thing that is different here with you and me, is that we know each other in person. This changes everything. This makes you far more interested in what I have to say. Recently, I have noticed that my engagement is going down. I'm sure I am not pleasing the masters. Probably because of that guy. The one that is going to save us. I don't want to say his name right now. I think you know. Anyway, if not ask me next time we see each other.

There's still a lot of control out there.
