We live? It says we are connecting. We're live. Dan Perry. Cool. Writer of the excellent Substack, Ask Questions Later. Thanks for joining me. Thanks for inviting me on your inaugural video. We may have figured it out. We'll see if we get some texts, if people tell us that either one of us is sideways or speaking backwards or

something like that. But we seem to be okay. So let's go forward. First, where are you calling in from? And what have you been doing today since you first heard the announcement to the news?

SPEAKER 2
I am calling in from my home office in Tel Aviv. I've been on Al Jazeera three times today on I-24, which is a Hebrew and Israeli multilingual station in the studio, some other stuff of that nature. I wrote a column for the foreword about what lies ahead.

What You Need To Watch

Here is a recording from my live video with Dan Perry of “Ask Questions Later”.

About Dan Perry: As regular CRN readers and listeners know, among other roles, Dan led the Associated Press coverage of Israel and the Middle East — from Pakistan through north Africa — for much of the 2010s, and before that he led AP in Europe and Africa. Today Dan lives in Tel Aviv and writes the excellent Substack “Ask Questions Later”. His columns appear in Newsweek and The Forward, among other places. He appears frequently on both Al Jazeera and the Israel-based i24 global television network.
