Dach made a good point in the post game comments. The Red Wings frustrated the Canadiens D-zone breakouts. The Habs have focused on exiting the zone along the walls during this run of good form, Detroit shut that down.

Exiting the zone through the middle of the ice, to counter this, has been a shambles for the Canadiens early in the season. Seems to me, they might want to work on this if teams are going to shut down exiting down the walls.
