MBB: Murray State officially announced Miller as head coach earlier Monday

On the day Murray State officially announced Ryan Miller as the school’s 18th men’s basketball coach, Miller made his first public comments to the Racer Nation.
Murray State’s Men’s Basketball account on X posted this video:
Miller has spent the last four years at Creighton working for Greg McDermott. This afternoon, Creighton’s longtime head coach posted the following video supporting Miller’s decision to become Murray State’s head coach.
Miller, who is in his fourth season as an assistant coach at Creighton, will finish the season with the Blue Jays, although he’s working both jobs at the moment. Creighton will play Louisville in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament Thursday in Lexington.
Prior to going to Creighton, Miller had coaching stops at Memphis, Pepperdine and New Mexico, and then was Associate Head Coach at Auburn, UNLV and TCU.
