Donald Trump dressed up like a damn garbage man in Wisconsin and said he alone could fix everything. Prices? Fixed. Ukraine war? Solved in 24 hours. Housing? No problem. Except, of course, he was lying—and now, voters in Wisconsin are absolutely furious.
That’s part of what I discussed with Ben Wikler, Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, in our latest interview. Because while Trump’s MAGA cosplay and broken promises were ridiculous enough, what’s happening now is downright criminal.
Elon Musk—yes, the same billionaire who thinks laws don’t apply to him—is trying to literally buy a Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin. Musk posted (and later deleted, and reposted) a tweet offering $1 million each to people who show up to a town hall after voting in the critical Wisconsin Supreme Court election. He even made attendance contingent on proof of voting.
Wikler was blunt: that’s illegal. Under Wisconsin law, promising anything of value—even a dollar—to induce someone to vote is a felony. Musk offered millions.
And who’s the guy Musk is trying to help win? MAGA loyalist Brad Schimel—a man who dressed up like Trump for Halloween and proudly called it an “honor” to be the named defendant in a Planned Parenthood case. This isn’t just a race—it’s a test of whether billionaires can buy our courts and crush democracy in the process.
Schimel’s opponent, Judge Susan Crawford, couldn’t be a sharper contrast. She’s a proven public servant who’s defended reproductive freedom, voting rights, workers’ rights—and who applies the law equally, whether you're Elon Musk or an everyday Wisconsinite.
So here’s the bottom line: this is a must-win election. It’s about stopping Trump, stopping Musk, and stopping MAGA extremism from taking over our courts. But most of all, it’s about showing that our democracy isn’t for sale.

Historically, distupting normal business and boycotting wealthy oligarch's businesses have moved oligarchs to withdraw support from dictators and led to their removal. Protests in DC are cool but parking protests - filling up Walmart and Whole Foods parking lots (no signs) between 11-3 & 4-6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday (and Weekdays ) will have a much more powerful affect. Add Tmobile partnering with Starlink, etc.

From what I understand, the evidence that you have published/made public an off that you will pay someone (even as little as $1, let alone a sum of $1,000,000!) is a felony crime in the state of Wisconsin, then the AG for that state SHOULD FILE charges for that crime against Elon Musk!! If that is on the books, to discourage it from happening in the first place, yet it is done anyway, it shows a “lawless attitude” and an “I am above the law” mentality. In that case, “the Law” needs to slap him hard in order to get 1.) his attention; and 2, his respect for the law. So he can come to understand that the law is here and on the books for the benefit and protection of all… and, it is especially to be used for those who think they can violate it at will simply because they don’t want to be burdened with obeying it themselves.
As our Creator God has let us know in Romans 13:1-8, He is the One who set forth the law and remanded the civil violation of the laws to be censored by civilian authorities who are to render punishment for their violations, when violated.
Notice verses 2-4: “Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, 4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of god, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.”
In the State of Wisconsin (and all other States), the Attorney General is the top Law Enforcement Official, and I think something like this flagrant and disrespect for the law should be handled by him, or upon his direction. (That’s why, as a citizen of the State of Florida, and as one who has voted for Pam Bondi in every statewide election she has ever run in, I had voted for her…. Because I had believed that she was a true believer in The Law and its equal application of it as our Creator has instituted it (see Romans 13:1 for that word ‘instituted’ in the Holy Scriptures); but she was won over to a person and ‘his will’ and ‘his law’ and his personal desire for getting his revenge…. and she has sold out her soul for the benefits of her benefactor (the WRONG ONE she is looking to) naming her as our nation’s AG…. and her actions thus far are proving that she understood what that appointment meant when he offered her the role…. “remember that I am your client; and I want you to use the law to shut up those who disagree with me; and I want you to use the powers of that Agency/Department to put the fear of God into them”……
……. When she ought to, instead, have the fear of God in her” and be fearing what He is going to do to her once she dies!

If he has violated the WI state constitution then Trump can't save him using a pardon. I would arrest him the moment he lands in the state.
From a practical standpoint, corrupt billionaires are not accountable for law breaking. Fed or state level. Contrary to the assertion of the Supremes, there are US citizens who are above the law.

The WI State AG should issue an arrest warrant to Musk for felony election law violation. Trump can't issue a corrupt pardon for a state felony.

Well, here we get into the nuances of law. Uttering a death threat is a whole different ball of wax and is clearly defined in law. Plus the threat you posed goes completely beyond words. So, a false equivalency, IMHO.
A bank transfer is still money changing hands and would be easier to prove then actual hand to hand payment. WI needs to offer a reward of some sort, doesn’t need to monetary, for someone coming forward to testify that musk is in fact doing this with proof to help prosecute him.

This quote is not correct, he offered $1 million to 2 people attending not all attendees. This is a small error but one that Meidas touch has repeated on multiple platforms. When fighting liars it is especially important to be prudent in truth telling so we give the opposition no reason to also claim we are liars.
The money has to be given to the person and then Musk can be charged with a crime of bribery. The person accepting the money can also be charged with accepting the money as a bribe.
Money did change hands in exchange for the person being a "spokesperson" for Elon's petition against "activist judges". However the law says it is illegal to OFFER anything in exchange for votes. He offered even if he hadn't carried through.

So this is no easy task no matter how you look at it. Also, it could end differently than the "r's" want it to, so it is a big risk for them.

In Australia voting is compulsory - which we LOVE! We actually get fined (ie pay a penalty!!) if we don't vote - which most of us really like. It forces us to get to grips with the issues, give them some thought, queue up for the 'sausage sizzle' (BBQ) at our local public schools where the voting is held.
We REALLY value voting and we're hoping Wisconsinites do too - because the domino effect of what they're about to vote on is SOOOO massive (as those on here know).
