Hi friends,

I’m rather sick today. Kevin and I both came down with a nasty cold the night before last, almost in unison. So I’ve been mostly sleeping and recovering this week.

It’s been an intense month or so. I was amidst a significant management change (so happy to have landed in the right place with AIRE) and onboarding a new assistant. We had a ferocious plumbing issue in our building (Pre-War perks) that disrupted my life for a solid month, then we were bidding on a townhouse that we didn’t get at the eleventh hour because someone swooped in WAY over ask, and now we’re both sick! I have been the I-cant-attend queen, the flake of flakes, the princess of plan cancellation. Hopefully, normal life can resume once I feel better in a few days.

Given the circumstances, it will be a quick list today, but I wanted to put a handful of things on your radar as we head into the final stretch of this week.

  • If you’re in The Love List’s Chat (and if you aren’t, you should be), you know we’ve been discussing a lot of health and wellness this week. Some favorites have emerged. The consensus is that Bose’s earbuds stay put better than anything else the group’s runners have tried, without sacrificing comfort or drowning out road noise. The new Augustinus Bader sunscreen is a hit. Everyone (still) loves Ritual’s vitamins; the Hyacera skin supplement seems to be a sleeper (I stand ten toes down on its efficacy), but the women’s multivitamin and the gut health synbiotic (I also take this daily) are very popular. And I chimed in with one of my favorite recent discoveries, a pilates airweight jumpsuit that shot straight to the top of my pile.

  • The chat about supplements also reminded me how quickly Wellbel began to work for me—I immediately noticed way less shedding, but my hair is growing thicker over time. I also take oral minoxidil and noticed a difference when I added Wellbel about six months ago. I’ve also been using OneSkin’s growth serum right around my hairline with a derma roller to combat hair loss from those slick-back buns' tension pull.

  • Remember my Land’s End swimsuit Mom hack? The brand is having a swim event, where their already reasonably-priced swimwear is up to half off (and BOGO), and they have offered y’all early access before it opens up to everyone tomorrow. Use code SEASHELL.

The front page of The Row’s website right now.
  • Ok! Back to fashion. In brick-and-mortar shopping news, The Row announced homeware during Milan Design Week, beginning with cashmere bedding. No prices, but inquiries are invited. You really ought to see the new Magda Butrym pop-up in Soho. It’s stunning. RIXO also has a new store in NoLita, which is worth your perusal if you’re in the market for wallet-friendly print dresses for summer. Maria McManus announced Spring private shopping dates, beginning next week in Tribeca and ending in Houston in early May. Kallmeyer just announced a new Madison Avenue store, opening TBD. Violet Grey is also close to opening in the upper 70s, and we might be working together on a little something so you can see it (and shop it) first. More to come on that.

Kallmeyer’s just-announced UES storefront.
  • To get the Rachel Tashijan profile treatment is a treat. I got a small taste of it last year — it’s a tricky thing to be a thorough reporter, a balanced critic, and to still write with such a singular, likeable voice, but she does it. Her latest story on LSD is so, so good. Go read it.

  • My dear friend Talia, who is one half of EREDE, has collaborated with

    Juliana Salazar
on a gorgeous capsule called “Heartstopper”, featuring a diamond heart signet ring and earrings. We are going to Charleston next month with our friend Vic at
    SubStax
    to hang out with
    Grace Atwood
, and I hope she has them out to look at. Feels like a nice engagement gift from me, to me, yeah?

The signet ring from the EREDE x Juliana Salzar collab. Waiting for a Gen Z to correct this hand heart.
  • I am on a summer bag bender. I saw my stunning friend

    Ilana Torbiner
wearing this Chan Luu bag on her recent vacation, and now I’m struck with the shoppies. How great would this black Liffner sisal tote look with a chic bag charm? Same for this rich-looking Cesta Collective bucket. This Savette mesh Tondo in nude is also so good. Lemaire continues to collaborate with iconic French market bag brand FILT, and this Octopus bag is calling my name. The tassel!

  • Is everything with a tassel calling my name lately? Well, yes. This necklace feels like a must. Maybe layered with this one.

    Liffner’s black sisal tote.
  • Doen spring chapter 3 is here! Doen is one of those brands I will always root for because they have such an incredible group of women around them. It’s not a coincidence that connectors, P.R. mavens, friends-to-all Jenny Olson and Gaby Katz lead the people-collecting efforts. But I never don’t have fun at a Doen event, and that’s coming from someone who famously loathes most brand dinners. Anyway, I like this top and the coordinating pants from the drop, precisely the kind of minimal-effort clothing I want for the summer.

ICYMI…

I love the mix of fashion/wellness/beauty this week. Hoping AB comes out with a tinted sunscreen.

How do influencers afford that? Why her and not me? Is gifting just grifting? Let's mention it all.
