Match preview - Worthing vs Lowestoft Town
As we are unable to get this afternoon's match preview up on the main site, it's here so you Worthing fan's don't miss out:
Worthing go into Saturday's Bostik League Premier Division clash with Lowestoft at the Bibby Financial Services Stadium eager to build upon the Boxing Day victory over Burgess Hill.
Goals from Alfie Young and Kieron Pamment gave the Mackerel Men a 2-0 win to close the gap at the bottom to a single point following a third win in four games and manager Adam Hinshelwood is hoping for more of the same as the Trawlerboys complete a run of three home matches in a row.
Hinshelwood said, 'I'm expecting a good game over the 90 minutes. They'll come here full of confidence after their 1-0 win over Leiston on Boxing Day, like us they're finding a good bit of form currently and they will look at the table and feel they have to win given our position. But we'll be looking to add to our home form which is improving and we'll see what they bring.'
'Not to be disrespectful, but as always I'll concentrate on us, get our focus and we'll see from the whistle how their set up will affect us. I think sometimes it pays not to watch or know too much, you can get wrapped up in that and forget what we can do and then it works against you. We know we have to keep working like we did on Saturday and Tuesday and if we do we get the rewards.'
Striker Ben Pope will return to the squad after his four match suspension and despite a few knocks and niggles, Hinshelwood's only definite absentee will be Jazz Rance, the striker missing out with a hamstring strain.
The match at the Bibby Financial Services Stadium kicks off at 3pm, admission is £10 for adults, £5 for concessions, £3 for 13-16 year olds and £1 for under 12's.
