On November 27, 1941, U.S. Army Chief of Staff George C. Marshall issues a memorandum cautioning that “Japanese future action unpredictable but hostile action possible at any moment. If hostilities cannot be avoided, the United States desires that Japan commit the first overt action.”

Japan was pushed hard and was at risk of being completely destroyed by U.S. strategies of blockading its importation of oil, and supporting China in its conflict with Japan, so Japan was forced to defend herself; it was just another psyop like Gulf of Tonkin, Iraq WMD, 9-11, and so forth...
