Sudan - yet another country that is going to be occupied/colonized after making deals with Putin and naively trusting him for protection if attacked by his Western "partners".

It seems that Sudan leadership agreed to a Russian naval base and either assumed or were assured directly that Putin will protect them. Once NATO moved in, after threats gave no results, Russia/Putin simply disappeared, and left them to themselves. I've not heard Putin…
