At a recent Q&A someone asked me this question and while I answered it at the time, the question has stayed with me. I tried another answer.

"Where do you get the audacity to write?"

I’ve been away caring for my mother, who is on the mend after two aneurysms, as I begin to lean into the prospect of visiting more family and friends in the coming years. I am hopeful.

Recently, I added a caramel-flavored creamer. Every sip was like sipping turmeric.

Late at night or early in the morning, I like drinking tea. Often a green or floral, but a London Fog has always been my special treat. My bergamot tea varies. If you have a favorite, please let me know.
