As a long time follower of her work, I am deeply grateful for her continued exploration. She’s a marvel. I am particularly struck by her capacity to illuminate and obscure simultaneously, and even in the obscuring provide further layers of illumination. I could just stand and stare at her work for hours. At this point I guess I actually have. And it’s worth saying that it is a rare gift to so capture and evoke such work the way you do. I am equally struck by Alyson Provax’s works and your writing about them. “They give the feeling of entering a room after someone has whispered a secret into it.” If ever there were an ode worthy of its subject!
Reading the way you see is so very delicious on a foggy summer morning in the Green Mountains
Would so loved to have seen this show. Thank you for your lovely description of the work.
In tears, as usual. You bring the work to life and I am just so grateful to see it from here in the woods.
Thanks, Jennifer. This gallery is in my neighborhood! I am going to see this show on Saturday at your urging.
Beautifully show and beautifully written!
This is incredible art. Thank you for sharing.
I wouldn’t have experienced the show, if not for this. Thank you!
