Where I hope you’ve been putting your extra hour of daylight to fine use this weekend as much as FCC Chair Brendan Carr did!
He sent out his latest 💌 missive to rectify the great video distribution injustices that plague our broadband internet era . . . with a #HeyGOOGLE letter fired over to the YOUTUBE corporate offices asking why YOUTUBE TV isn’t carrying the highly in-demand GREAT AMERICAN FAMILY network.
I mean — the network is only available for Americans to watch on pretty much any cable TV bundle in the country! If this isn’t class A censorship . . . I don’t know what is.
Aha! Just look at how GAF describes the dire situation in the very first question on its own FAQ page: “You can watch Great American Family on your TV through all major cable providers.”
I’ll keep you posted when Brendan’s letter asking why YT TV isn’t carrying LOGO either is delivered to GOOGLE.
OTHERWISE: A pretty quiet weekend, but kudos to UCLA for a helluva comeback win over USC today to take the Big 10 women’s basketball title, after losing to USC twice during the season. As I’ve said before — gonna be a great March Madness this year.
