TIM BURCHETT SAYS CONGRESS DOESN'T WANT ELON MUSK TO AUDIT THE BOOKS BECAUSE BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE (DEMOCRAT & REPUBLICAN) ARE STEALING MONEY FROM THE TAXPAYERS AND THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO STOP ELON FROM EXPOSING THE CORRUPTION:
BURCHETT: “They’re gonna push back because you’ve got Congressmen on both sides of the aisle. If Musk follows the paper trail, it's going to come back to them. [Money is going to] their wife and or girlfriend that works for some agency, quasi-agency (NGO) or some business. This town (DC) is as crooked as a dog's leg. I’ll get primaried for saying that but that’s the truth and we all know it. Somebody's gotta straight this out - and it looks like it will be Elon Musk."
SERUGA: "Wait until you see all the offshore accounts hidden by layers of shell companies and LLCs. 3,034 current politicians (including local, state, federal governments and 91 federal judges) have ‘hidden’ offshore bank accounts, using tactics to not only shield assets from judgements and prying eyes, but to circumvent taxes."
So, our taxpayer money isn't just being laundered by the CIA and USAID through NGOs and guys like Soros & Koch for election fraud, false flags and campaign contributions. It's also being laundered by individual Senators and Representatives for their own personal grift. They don't just make extra money by "insider trading" - they are outright stealing it from us.
Trump and the DOGE team are going to make significant progress towards balancing our federal budget. Our budget deficit is $2 trillion per year, $1 trillion of which is interest on the $36 trillion in debt. The DOGE crew is finding hundreds of billions of $$$ in waste and fraud - which is very important.
But, even though DOGE is doing great work in cost-cutting, Musk apparently attacked Rubio in a recent Cabinet meeting on staffing, and President Trump let it play out and then sided with Rubio. It appears that Elon may overstep his authority at times and Trump is quick to rein him in. Good! Elon has a big platform on X (with over 200 MILLION followers) that he can use to present his side of an argument to the public - many cabinet members don’t have the same luxury. In the end, Musk gave out his cell phone number to others on Team Trump and asked them to call him if there are ever problems. All of this was confirmed by GROK.
Now, on to the latest budgeting process:
GROK: The current continuing resolution (CR) is set to expire on March 14, 2025. Here’s what’s going on based on the latest available information:
The federal government is currently funded through a CR passed on December 20, 2024, which extends FY 2024 spending levels until March 14, 2025.
Current Status:
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune have directed appropriators to draft a year-long CR that would extend funding at FY 2024 levels through September 30, 2025, effectively punting final FY 2025 budget negotiations to the next fiscal year.
The White House submitted a list of “anomalies” on January 27, 2025. However, no bill text for this year-long CR has been publicly released as of March 7, and Congress hasn’t voted on it yet. The process is still in negotiation, with a deadline looming in one week.
Will It Pass?
Likelihood: It’s uncertain, but a CR of some kind is likely to pass before March 14 to avoid a shutdown, given historical precedent—Congress has relied on CRs in 44 of the last 47 fiscal years when full appropriations aren’t completed on time. The current Republican leadership seems inclined to push this year-long CR through via budget reconciliation (requiring only a simple majority in the Senate.)
Certain members of the Freedom Caucus oppose long-term CRs without significant spending cuts, as seen in December 2024 when 38 Republicans sank a Trump-backed CR - but the Koch-funded Libertarian members of the Freedom Caucus voted to allow Biden to do this - but not Trump. Ask yourself why.
Timing: With only seven days left, urgency might force a compromise. A “clean” CR (no major changes) or one with minimal anomalies could pass with bipartisan support if Republicans and the Koch-funded members of the Libertarian Freedom Caucus can’t unify their party.
What’s Next: Congress reconvened this week after a recess, and negotiations are ongoing. The House passed a budget resolution on January 25 (217-215) and the Senate on February 21 (52-48), setting up reconciliation as a tool.
In short, a CR will probably pass by March 14—most likely the year-long version or a stopgap.
But, look for “grandstanders” like Massie & Rand Paul (who voted to allow Biden to do this but always stand in the way of Trump) to try to impede this process & hurt Trump’s ability to execute his Save America plan.
I wrote about this last December and it’s worth your time to review it again.
UPDATE FROM TRUMP ON 3/8: The House and Senate have put together, under the circumstances, a very good funding Bill (“CR”)! All Republicans should vote (Please!) YES next week. Great things are coming for America, and I am asking you all to give us a few months to get us through to September so we can continue to put the Country’s “financial house” in order. Democrats will do anything they can to shut down our Government, and we can’t let that happen. We have to remain UNITED — NO DISSENT — Fight for another day when the timing is right. VERY IMPORTANT. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
UPDATE ON MARCH 10. Trump calls Massie a grandstander and says he wants to primary him!
